Anglo Couture had a fabulous time showcasing our designs to international retailers during New York Bridal Fashion Week. We had the pleasure of revealing the latest collections from all three of our lines which included; our veils and accessories line, Anglo Trousseau by Anglo Couture, our bridal separates line, Eros & Lace, as well as our Anglo Couture wedding gowns. Each of the lines were incredibly well received and we can barely wait to announce the amazing bridal salons that have chosen to showcase our designs in their stores. First, we would love to give you a recap of some of the Anglo Couture happenings during the week in order to give you a little behind the scenes look at what the Anglo Couture girls experienced during New York Bridal Fashion Week!
First of all, we had the amazing opportunity to show at the well respected Knot Couture Show. The people at the Knot are pretty great and we had a wonderful experience working with them. It was such a joy to be alongside so many talented designers and professionals. Most of all, we loved getting bridal salons owners and buyers who come from all over the world to shop the latest trends for their brides. Old friendships were strengthened and new ones were formed while we showcased our collections at The Knot Couture Show.
Along with getting to know all the amazing bridal stores, the Anglo Couture girls also had to the opportunity to interact with the press. Several members of the press came by to take photos of our beautiful bridal designs to publish in their magazines or blogs. Designer, Vicky Anglo had the opportunity to interview with South African media group, The Imagination Unlimited Group, about her latest collection. Talk about international exposure!
Another huge highlight of New York Bridal Fashion Week was that Eros & Lace separates received the award of editor’s pick at The Knot. Also, one of our Anglo Couture wedding gowns, Carley was chosen to be displayed as people entered the show. We couldn’t be prouder of how beautiful our bridal designs looked in New York City!
And, on a personal level, the Anglo Couture girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the Big Apple! There is something special about New York City…maybe it’s the food, the fashion, or the people, but it’s probably all of the above and then some. Either way, we had a great time exploring the lay of the land and getting experience the city that never sleeps. Designer, Vicky Anglo left some extra time to hunt for unique fabrics that you will see on the next collection…we just can’t stop creating here at Anglo Couture!
